GCL – Greyhound Champions League: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
GCL is a Chrome extension for members of the Greyhound Champions League, a private ESPN Fantasy Football league. It adds weekly player trading cards and custom team helmets to ESPN Fantasy Football pages. GCL is not affiliated with or endorsed by ESPN.
What GCL accesses and why
ESPN league data. GCL loads your league's teams, rosters, scores and player stats from ESPN, using the ESPN login already in your browser. This data is shown to you in the extension. GCL does not store it or send it anywhere else.
Your ESPN account ID (the "SWID" cookie). GCL reads this ID to work out which fantasy team is yours, so that you can edit only your own team's helmet. When you save a helmet, this ID is stored with the design to record who saved it. GCL does not read your ESPN password or any other cookies.
Helmet designs. Helmet designs (colors, stripe style, decal text or icon) are stored in a database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com). Everyone in the league who uses GCL can see them.
Card photos and approvals. The league commissioner can upload action photos for player cards and approve weekly card designs. These photos and approvals are stored in Supabase and shown to everyone in the league. Other users cannot upload photos.
Local settings. GCL remembers the league and team you last viewed, in your browser's extension storage on your own computer.
What GCL does not do
- GCL has no ads, analytics or tracking.
- GCL does not sell or rent data, or share it with anyone other than the Supabase hosting service described above.
- GCL does not use data for any purpose unrelated to showing player cards and helmets.
- GCL does not collect browsing history or read pages other than ESPN Fantasy Football.
Removing your data
Uninstalling GCL removes its local settings. To have a saved helmet design deleted from the shared database, contact the developer.
